The hunt for this sleeveless blazer (by Everly) was a journey so when I found it at Island Passage I knew it was mine! It’s the perfect piece to throw on with any denim pant, shorts or a dress. I love a good staple piece that can transition your look. I decided to keep with standard with high rise pants, a black basic and my fav vintage belt with silver detailing. Found at The Wondershop!
This mini series was so much fun. North Carolina doesn’t get THAT much snow, but this year we got 8 inches and I wanted to take advantage of it so while I was driving home from work I suddenly had some inspiration to do a Snow White shoot with my room mate. Bless her heart for baring the below freezing temps for this but I was very pleased with the outcome! I bought this For Love and Lemons dress for certain event (thankfully I already wore it) and knew it would be perfect for my spin on Snow White in NC. Anyways, I was proud of these photos considering my passion for photography became lost when it slowly became a job so it kinda of got kicked to the curb for awhile.
Yesterday morning I was woke up to some pretty negative news, and my immediate reaction was to get upset. I had to stop myself and pray about it because when God shuts one door, He opens an even better door. Though it’s hard to see the light through the darkness, I know from first hand experience that He will provide. All my closed doors have resulted in something better than I could imagine. I took the time to venture around Durham and take in its beautiful character. Not only that, but I found a coffee shop called Cocoa Cinnamon. BEST latte ever, just saying! Right now, I am giving it to Him and trusting in God! Let’s talk about how cute this heart is?!
I wish I could stock up on every kind of overall out there, but for now my closet holds these three beauties. Overalls themselves are a //statement// so I try not to go overboard with accessories, but always, always have a good pair of shoes on.
